点评:This museum is absolutely superb and definitely worth a visit for toddlers and up. It is so hands on and so far from a traditional museum-it is interactive and immersive with lights, props and amazing actors-it is clear it has been brilliantly designed. All staff were engaging and really enthusiastic. I also love that we could visit as many times as we liked after buying the ticket as it is such a great place for my toddler to let off some steam. He loved it and pointed to go back in.
The only real shame is that we have stayed here for 2 weeks and never seen it advertised at all! The logo really pops BUT it doesn't say what it is very clearly at all. If you stand on the prom you can't see anything about it next to Sea life and all other major attractions and bars with their huge signage and leaflets and promos in the Hotels and online. I think even if people see the small description, from road side it then just looks like a shop at ground level, which doesn't pull people in. I have told a few people about it when out and about and even local mums aI have chatted to did not know that they could visit for free. My family stayed as a group of 18 and nobody had realised what it was. Several went after we showed them our pictures and loved it! The staff in both the Hotels we stayed in (Lytham and also in St Annes) had no clue about the museum. We are on all the families Facebook groups for amazing places to visit and also nothing. I think it would be such a shame if this place didn't stay open because nobody knew about it, as it is totally unique. The foot fall could be massively improved with daily social media-maybe staff could be more involved in this? They are so engaging and clearly want the museum to succeed and people to have a fabulous time.
