Enjoyable venue you but disappointing service

点评：I wanted to enjoy Kai Beach Club, as the setting and food have a lot of potential, but unfortunately the service seriously let the experience down.
We waited over 45 minutes for a pizza, only to then be told it wasn’t available. When we asked why we hadn’t been informed earlier, staff were unable to give any explanation. At that point, after such a long wait, it felt frustrating and avoidable.
We were then offered a cheaper pizza option, but it was priced lower than what we originally ordered. When we asked instead for the other cheese pizza, we were told we would need to pay the extra cost. Given the poor communication and long delay, we felt this was unreasonable and declined. We had spoken to another couple who mentioned that they had waited over 2 hours for their breakfast so it seems to be a common thing.
When the pizza finally arrived, it came with a beer, which we reasonably assumed was a goodwill gesture to make up for the wait and inconvenience. However, when we later went to order another drink, we were charged for that beer plus a service charge, which felt misleading and left us feeling uncomfortable — almost as though we were being taken advantage of rather than looked after.
To be clear, the food itself was good, and the pool area is lovely, which is why this was such a disappointment. There was no real attempt to acknowledge or make up for the poor service and long waits, and overall it left us feeling like there was a lack of transparency.
For anyone planning to visit: the music is very quiet before midday and then becomes quite loud later on, which may suit some people but is worth knowing in advance.
With better communication and customer care, this could be a great place — but as it stands, the service really overshadows what should have been an enjoyable experience.
