点评:Our trip was booked independently by our travel agent/friend who was due to travel with us but had to cancel. Our booking was made in Dec 24 to ensure we got on when we were due to go on a Fred Olsen cruise in July. We were told less than 24 hours before the trip that 2 carriages were not available and our booking was cancelled. We understand that both independent and bookings through FO were cancelled. However it doesn’t seem to have been done in booking order.
Looking at other reviews this seems to be regular occurrence and one wonders why spare carriages aren’t available. We were told the two defective carriages had been taken to Oslo for repairs but ironically 2 carriages were in an adjoining siding. This was to be one of the highlights of the cruise . Golden Rail staff not very helpful
