Clavell & Hind的点评
点评：We have been visiting clavell & Hind for the last 18 months and have pretty much made this our local. We have had the pleasure to watch it go from strength to strength with all the improvements keep being added from the outlaw kitchen to the glass exterior bifold doors to the two massive outdoors screens for sports. The taproom is a great place to go for quiet drink or to meet up with friends. Tom is the heartbeat and you can tell he has the passion to make it such a big success and always has time to chat and tell us what’s coming next.
Today we visited for the first time for Sunday lunch and we nearly overlooked it and went some where else, as reading some really poor reviews we did think may be it’s a great place for drinks and quick bites line the burgers and pizzas etc but not for Sunday roasts, how wrong we were and the previous poor reviews. May be these poor reviews were just one offs and may be they should be given a second chance to put it right?
How glad we were to ignore these poor reviews and try out the roast dinners. It was only two of us and I went the trio of meats ( Beef, Pork , Chicken) and my wife has a small appetite and just had the small portions roast beef. The roasts were hot and they came well presented and carrots roast potatoes and parsnips with a delightful Yorkshire pudding, accompanied with a bowl of greens and a bowl of cauliflower cheese. Honestly these portions were filling and very tasty. For the price it was great value the trio of meats £21 and small roast £9. Great value and will definitely return again for Sunday roasts.
Well done team the young waiters and waitresses were on point and were bringing out the foods for people quickly so it was a great job done by all.
