Beautiful building with great facilities inside

点评：Went to museum to see the Knife Sculpture outside and was very surprised by the exhibits inside.
Highlight was the Stone of Destiny exhibition. It was a stunning multi-media event with the Stone itself at the centre.
Other exhibits were local history, as well as some world history. I particularly liked the display of Scottish animals and birds. The flying eagle and buzzard hung from the ceiling were very well done. There was plenty of multi-media screens on many topics, if you wanted more details. Some of the pictures or large photos were very good too.
The whole building has just opened following an extensive refurbishment.
The inside in particular is very impressive.
At one time this building was earmarked for demolition, that would have been a crime.
Very worth while visit, we will come again when we have more time.
Nice cafe and lovely toilets.
