Nice and big museum and visit here will help you understand the history of Teochew
Chaoshan Historical Culture Expo Center的点评
点评：For those who are Teowchews (or would like to understand and learn more about the Teochew history and culture), this is a must visit place. From the numerous exhibits, displays and live figurines, it helps you walk down the memory lane to understand the spirit and practises of the Teochew community. Being a Teochew, I am impressed and indulged by the interesting and insightful exhibits that help me to understand my forefathers' generations.
It's a big place and one can simply spend a day here to walk around the 5 level building and watching a live Teochew Opera performance. There are also cafes and souvenir shops here and only issue is that there's only two lifts on each side of the massive buidling (and no escalators) and with such big crowds of visitors, you probably have to walk up the floors and there's no chance for you to take the lifts.
And outside the building faces the river that offered another spectacular view of the city!
