Ayrburn is a must-visit gem in Arrowtown – food, wine, and atmosphere all top-tier!

点评：Our group of 10 had an absolutely incredible time at Ayrburn, it’s so much more than just a winery. The setting is stunning, with beautifully restored buildings and so many charming spaces to explore. You could easily spend hours wandering from one spot to the next (and we did!).
We started at the Bakehouse, where the pies and sausage rolls were next-level — perfect for a cheeky bite before diving into the wine. The Barrel Room wine tasting was a real highlight, what a wonderful moody setting amongst the barrels. Our wonderful host from Seattle (whose name escapes me thanks to the generous pours!) was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience feel really personal and fun. The wines were fabulous, with the flagship Napoleon standing out as a favourite for many of us.
Lunch at The Woolshed was nothing short of exceptional. We opted for the degustation with wine pairing and were absolutely blown away. Every course was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and thoughtfully matched with Ayrburn’s wines. You definitely won’t leave hungry, or disappointed!
We enjoyed ourselves so much, we ended up pushing back our next bookings just to soak in a little more time at this special place. Whether you're a foodie, a wine lover, or just someone who appreciates beautiful surroundings and great service, Ayrburn is a must-do in Arrowtown. Can’t wait to come back!
