What a thoroughly lovely place!

点评：What a thoroughly lovely place! We've been here several times recently and it's definitely now our favourite place to go for a drink and a bite to eat. They have a great range of beers available (obviously!) with a different selection each time we visit. The seating area inside is cosy and welcoming and the outdoor area has recently had a bit of a 'glow up' with some raised planters making the area feel more enclosed and private than the location suggests. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the beers on offer and are happy to offer recommendations if you can't decide which to try!
There's usually a different food van outside every day at the weekends - we've previously enjoyed some vegan Mexican food and Nepalese street food there - plus there's the standard bar snacks available inside (crisps, nuts etc).
Families are welcome and there are a few board games available to borrow inside to keep the kids entertained, but it's an equally lovely place to meet friends too.
