点评:Firstly on 30th Dec we sat in the special assistance hut North Terminal, waiting for a 2 wheelchairs up to departure lounge, everyone that came in there was told it would be a long wait as there was a shortage of staff and it might be quicker if we walked! In the end my daughter got a wheelchair and pushed my husband up to special assistance desk while walked along with my bad knee aided by my walking stick.Other people who were in there (some who had real difficulties walking)decided to walk too! . After that it was a good service on the buggy that takes you to the gate. Coming back Jan 3rd at 5.30pm ish from Glasgow 7 people needing a wheelchair some turned up first, leaving 4 of us waiting in the lift that takes you off the plane. Then two wheelchairs turned up leaving myself and husband having to wait again - (Now a couple of years ago when a similar thing happened we sat for nearly an hour waiting for a wheelchair and walked in the end to baggage reclaim which luckily wasn't far but then had to carry on walking with our luggage to the exit). We told them this time that we were not going to wait because of last time so my daughter got a wheelchair and pushed my husband while I struggled once again with my bad knee, and a suitcase to baggage reclaim, and out onto the exit - we got lost on our way out too. So as far as I can say thanks for nothing. P S. The assistance in Glasgow was excellent- perhaps you could follow their example !
