点评：I am very grateful to Petra and Travel Utsjoki! I booked them for a scenic hike to the highlands and a tour of the past and present of Utsjoki village.
In the Paistunturi Wilderness Area, where Petra guided me on a hike, I was simply mesmerised and left speechless by the beautiful and spectacular landscapes that I had never experienced before. It was truly a life-changing experience. And we also got to see lots of mother reindeer with their calves, who were born in May!
Petra was not only a knowledgeable and experienced guide, but also a very kind, thoughtful and wonderful person. She not only shared with me a lot about Utsjoki and Sápmi, and the natural environment and fauna and flora of the area, but also answered many of my questions. She also gave me the opportunity to hear her honest perspective and thoughts on living with reindeer in such a magnificent natural environment, and I learnt so much from her.
She also helped me from the moment I made enquiries, offering me some suggestions for my solo visit to Utsjoki and even arranging a rental bike for me! Thanks to her, I had a pleasant stay and many unique and wonderful experiences.
Utsjoki in summer is full of beauty and tranquillity like no other. I will definitely return again. And when I do, I will ask Petra and Travel Utsjoki to guide me again!
