点评：Folly Beach, affectionately known as the "Edge of America," is a laid-back, barrier-island city on Folly Island, South Carolina. Located just 12 miles south of downtown Charleston, it is famous for its eclectic surf culture, oceanfront dining, and the iconic Folly Beach Pier.
This was my very first time visiting, and it definitely delivers exactly what you want from a traditional coastal getaway. It has that perfect, easygoing "beach vibe" energy that effortlessly brings together both locals and tourists.
The weather during our visit was absolutely beautiful, though the wind was kicking up a little high while we were there. If you’re looking for a fancy, over-the-top, exquisite resort experience, this isn't that kind of place—and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it great. It just gives us a classic beach, nothing exquisite, just typical, authentic beach vibe energy where you can kick off your shoes and relax.
Definitely a solid spot for anyone who appreciates an unpretentious day by the ocean. I'll be back!
