点评:Having passed this for the last half a century, I thought maybe it was time to actually go in and see what it was all about. This was a nice city museum. I don’t know what elevates it to the level of State Park, I would’ve expected better from the state of Utah. There are some nice artifacts from the area detailing the effort and experiences that went into building a town in a wilderness. I appreciated the Piute section and the fact that there even was one. I liked the sheep sheering video and shed. There was nothing special going on the day that we visited, but I still spent close to two hours reading the placards, examining the artifacts, just enjoying it. Then we drove the half hour out to the old iron town, which is also part of the state park, and thought about what it would’ve been like to try to create iron out of that ore.
