Disappointing experience – overpriced and unpleasant atmosphere

点评：We visited the Great Market Hall hoping for a fun and authentic local experience, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of the low points of our trip.
🔹 Prices – Everything was surprisingly expensive, especially for what was supposed to be a local market. We felt like we overpaid compared to regular shops or even restaurants nearby.
🔹 Atmosphere – The place was crowded and chaotic, and we didn’t feel particularly welcome. Worst of all, I had a very unpleasant encounter with an aggressive vendor selling fake Apple accessories. When I declined politely, he started yelling in a foreign language and made threatening gestures – completely unacceptable behavior in a public place.
🔹 Tourist trap vibes – Many stalls seemed more focused on tourist gimmicks than authentic local products. Definitely not the warm Hungarian market experience we hoped for.
We recommend being cautious and managing expectations – it’s worth a quick look if you’re nearby, but don’t expect a cozy or budget-friendly shopping experience.
