Town Hall (Magistrat)的点评
点评："Ljubljanska mestna hiša" (Ljubljana Town Hall) was built in the late 15th century, and it was remodeled to its current appearance at the beginning of the 18th century.
In 1963 further remodeling / alterations took place.
The Tourist Information Office nearby organizes tours, but I decided to view the building by myself.
Only the vestibule, two courtyards and a hall with temporary exhibitions can be visited without an organized tour.
At the time of my visit (July 2024) the temporary exhibition was about theatres and acting - it was OK.
In the vestibule there is a stone Gothic plaque with coat of arms surviving from the original building.
The two internal courtyards were very beautiful, especially the first one (Central Atrium), with decorations on the walls and arcades. Both courtyards had wells at their centre.
