点评:One of those interesting parks that has culture and heritage as well as physical beauty. The park's forests are lovely, the mountain range is impressive (low altitude in total but seemingly large ascents due to the low level of the valley), the hiking options are varied and there is still an active livestock operation in the park.
This latter element was quite interesting, including a few enclaves of huts/houses that are still used by the cowherds and their families while the cattle are grazing in the altitudes. Both culturally interesting as well as quite attractive groupings of houses. We were there while the cattle was in the process of heading down from the peak levels, so it was interesting to see and hear the cattle on the high trails.
Mt. Triglav itself is worth the climb, both for the nice views as well as to achieve one of the more achievable national summits. It does require a bit of scrambling but is basically just a moderately strenuous hike from one of the in-park huts or a pretty laborious out-and-back day hike.
