点评:A week ago today some old friends had flown in from Melbourne so we decided to treat them to a Waiheke experience. This included lunch at the Heke and to try some whisky. Lunch was excellent. The place was buzzing and the food was top notch. We were then very fortunate that the founders of Waiheke Whisky were there and treated us to a wonderful tour and even more awesome tasting session. I had fallen in love with these whiskys and had tried a few, but wow - we tried some very new and upcoming expressions. Blown away. I've always loved "The Moss" but now am torn between "The Cantankerous" and "Bog Monster". A wonderful problem to have ! Both Mark and Ro were wonderful hosts and you can truly see the passion behind what they do. Our friends are still raving about it too. Will be back very soon.
