Wildshark Vineyard的点评
点评：I went here as part of their Harvest Feastival where you get to pick some grapes, try some of the previous harvests and have a barbecue.
The activity took about 3 hours in total and costed £65 per person, which also included a bottle of wine between 2 people from the current harvest.
We were welcomed and offered a coffee on arrival. Then we had some wine while our guide, Alex, provided us with some background on the vineyard and the Elite Pub Group that owns the site.
We then headed into the vineyard where we learnt more about the grape varieties grown here, before we were instructed on how to pick the crop. We picked Pinot Gris grapes and between about 10 of us, we picked two vine rows.
We then headed further back into the property where we were served some more of the wine varieties grown here and were served a delicious barbecue.
I had visited the vineyard previously and was aware that they had big plans to expand the site, but was not aware how large the vineyards are and of the remote areas set aside within the vines for entertaining.
Alex was extremely informative and friendly and made the experience quite unique.
