点评：Majestic and so recognisable from the outside a fantastic day.
We toured everywhere outside all the statues, gardens and amazing water mist areas - perfect on a boiling hot day.
We took one of the later internal tours (book well in advance). There is strict security on entry and righty so.
Once the tour starts your jaw drops at every corner. History, architecture, art, windows, murals, amazing woodwork - even the 100 year old lift.
The audio commentary is excellent and the guides helped where required and answered all questions with authority on their subject.
Take in the linking corridors, the sensational parliament chamber, the dome featuring St Stephen’s crown and meeting rooms. Not for everyone wonder at the heating and ventilation system a feat of engineering.
At the end of the tour is a terrific display of the history from start to modern times, the people behind the build and the skilled craftspeople who maintain this wondrous building.
