点评:I really enjoyed my visit to Visegrad Castle. I hiked up the clearly signposted route to get to the castle, and I would recommend this. It's strenuous and steep, and can be hard on a warm day, as was the day I completed my trip. Just make sure you take plenty of water, because there's none on the route up. There are also two ways up; from the south and from the north. The north is by far the steepest and it was even treacherous going down that way. Wear good shoes.
The castle itself was, I thought, nicely done. There is a visitor centre down below the actual castle. Here you can food and drink or gifts, and there is a toilet that you'll have to pay for. If you're entering the castle don't pay for the toilet. There's one in the castle. There's also a tap for free water. A godsend after that climb. You can, of course, drive up.
There's plenty to see in the castle. Lots of gorgeous viewpoints, much historical information and even a small Waxwork display. The Waxwork was themed around a conference that took place way back when between the kings of Hungary, Bohemia and Poland. It was excellently done.
The views of the nearby Danube will be what you ultimately go for, but I thought the museum element was really rather good.
