A world-class collection of twentieth century art

点评：This place is amazing! A must-visit when in southern California. The art collection is astounding: billions of dollars worth of art is on these walls. The entry way, living room and dining room are covered in masterpieces: a beautiful blue period Picasso, first rate Clyfford Still, iconic works by Willem de Kooning, gorgeous and large Rothko, Francis Bacon and Keith Haring. The dining room continues the masterpiece parade with Magrittes and Miros and de Chircos. In the rest of the house, there are wonderful things by Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Morris Louis and on and on. The tour is about an hour and a half but it flies by. One of the best collections of twentieth century art I have seen.
If I had one wish it would be that the foundation would operate in the way of the Frick or Peggy Guggenheim museum and let visitors stroll at their own pace, but, given the space constraints, that may not be possible. Fortunately, the docent we had was wonderful.
