A cool trip, but I doubt I’d do it again
Linville Caverns的点评
点评：This place was suggested to us by a few different folks, as a “must see”.
PROS:
-If you’re into geology, it’s pretty awesome
-The place is a low-stress encounter
-Good for adults and kids
-The post Helene damage pics are pretty jaw dropping
CONS:
-The tour is kind of a let down if you are last in line in your group. The guide will talk about the caverns, but only the first 4-5 folks can hear or see what the guide is referring to, due to the tight nature of the caverns
-Our guide had a trash flashlight, so when she’d shine it on a particular part of the cavern, you really had no idea what she was trying to highlight
-They really try packing the tours in, so it was kind of congested in the cavern
-They don’t offer advanced/online tickets, so you may have to wait 30-50 minutes, after ticket purchase, before your tour begins
-Their gift shop is one of those places littered with disclaimers like, “You break it, you buy it!”
It was a cool experience, I’m glad we went to say we did, but I doubt I’d ever do it again.
