King Zanzibar Tours and Safari的点评
点评：I do not recommend this guide. We chose their offer because we liked the proposed itinerary, and the price seemed attractive. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the actual two-day safari had little to do with the plan that was sent to us. Instead of arriving at 11 AM by direct train from Dar es Salaam (as indicated in the plan), we got there after 2 PM. In the meantime, we were informed that overnight accommodation in the national park was not possible due to a "government decision" and that we would be staying in a different hotel. It turned out to be a friendly one, so everything felt rigged. Upon arrival, we were supposed to do our first safari drive, but instead, we were taken to the hotel and picked up after 2.5 hours. Instead of a safari drive, we were shown a Maasai village, which lasted about 1.5 hours, and then we were taken back to the hotel. On the second day, after arriving at Mikumi National Park in the morning, we found out that we had arrived too late; the guide pretended to be very surprised. After another long wait, we finally entered the park. In total, we spent about 3.5 hours searching for animals during the two-day safari, with the rest being exhausting travel and the guide continuously dragging things out and dismissing us. Additionally, we learned that a one-day safari with a flight in both directions cost less than this "well-planned" trip with the guide. We deeply regret the money spent and the almost entire day of vacation wasted on transport, and we definitely advise against choosing the two-day option. Flying directly from Zanzibar to Mikumi and back, you will see just as much, if not more, and for less money than with this guide over two days.
