点评:Stumbled across Beeshouse Rhodes and it quickly became one of the most memorable parts of our day. It’s an informal, family-run donkey farm—maybe a rescue or sanctuary, not totally sure—but every donkey we saw was clearly happy, well cared for, and living their best life. From the young ones to the older donkeys, they were all friendly and curious.
You can pet them, feed them as much pita as you’d like (they love it), and just enjoy their company. The farm runs on an honor-based donation system, which adds to the charm.
Also sampled their onsite honey—delicious! I bought a small jar of honey and a bottle of olive oil for €5 each, and left a €20 donation. Spent about 30 minutes here and would highly recommend it if you're driving through the area. A wholesome, unexpected gem.
