点评：So here I am, residing in the 1 Hotel West Hollywood, which is located on the world-famous Sunset Strip, the 1.6-mile stretch of Sunset Boulevard in the community of West Hollywood where there may be no greater concentration anywhere of the young, hip and beautiful people than in the bars and nightclubs along this legendary roadway. The Sunset Strip passes through West Hollywood from its eastern border to the western border of Beverly Hills. It is known for boutiques, restaurants, rock clubs, nightclubs and huge, colorful billboards, a blend of pop culture and glamour. Locals and visitors are enamored by the swanky hotel rooftops of the Mondrian's SkyBar and the Sunset Tower Hotel's Tower Bar to the rock clubs such as The Viper Room and Whiskey a Go Go to iconic comedy clubs such as The Laugh Factory and the Comedy Store or the Roxy, where the Rocky Horror Picture Show premiered in 1974. Enjoy a cocktail at The Den on Sunset or a glass of Irish whiskey at Rock and Reilly's Irish Pub. Looking to see celebrities you might recognize? The bar at the Chateau Marmont and the cocktail bar at the Standard are sleek spots to see and be seen. The Sunset Strip is for shoppers, too. Like the Sunset Plaza, which features more than 20 stores, including Armani and H&M. Book lovers, like me, don't miss the iconic Book Soup, Los Angeles' largest independent book store with floor-to-ceiling shelves that contain more than 60,000 titles.
