The Great Estate Festival的点评
点评：On arriving after booking accessibility access I found the campervan field to be around 600m from the arena on the website this was advertised at being 60m, I tried to do the walk with crutches but the hill and uneven surface made it imposible. I was told they had called for a buggy to drop me at the arena this arrived after 2 hours of sitting in 20+ Degree sun.
on the Friday evening I was offed a buggie back if i reported to the office again an hour wait but i accept that as they where busy. but i was told i could not be taken into the mobility field as then everyone would want carrying about.
Saturday morning we where moved to the performer's field this was about 60 yards but the 60yards was over very coarse stone im amazed there where no falls as it was very uneven to navigate being a main part of disabled access
The staff where amazing big hat off to Dale.
the staff tried to do what they could but it was just a bad un thought out layout. if this is their only option i would suggest a shuttle bus service either hourly or 2 hourly. as much as the website says accessible, disabilities are really an after thought at this festival, i can honestly say one of the worst for such an amazing location.
