点评：Still Waters Safaris is a female-owned safari company and they work hard to provide the best safari/vacation experience possible. Amanda Kessy, Managing Director, did a phenomenal job creating my itinerary to Zanzibar. My guide, Zamir, met me on my arrival in Zanzibar and every day he was always on time and ready to share his knowledge and love of Zanzibar with me. Amanda’s choice of local companies (boat service to Prison Island) was much appreciated because the boat that I rode in to Prison Island (20 minutes) required me to wear a lifejacket. With the amount of traffic on the water, my boat was the only one that had that requirement. Safety is high on Amanda’s list of making sure her clients have no issues regarding safety. My visit to the Artisan Women of Jambiani was greatly enhanced by the guide that Amanda had hired and I enjoyed several hands-on activities. My accommodations were at the Tembo Hotel which is located on the beach and I enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets every night. Each room was decorated differently and I enjoyed an ocean view. The roads throughout Zanzibar are quite challenging and my driver did an excellent job maneuvering around potholes and road construction, not to mention the motor bikes, scooters, bicycles, tuktuks and pedestrians. In a couple of instances my itinerary needed to be revised and Amanda made sure that they were confirmed. Kudos to Amanda and Still Waters Safaris for making my trip to Zanzibar unforgettable.
