点评:On arrival we parked in the adjacent car park and walked around to the Abbey. Once paid for entrance we decided to go straight to the battlefield. Whilst it was an interesting area to walk with many sculptures made out of wood depicting the battle there was no place to sit and admire the surroundings. I felt (especially on the steep climb back) a couple of benches would be helpful for the less able to be given an opportunity to rest. This I thought was quite prohibitive for some and with no option to enjoy a picnic. I did speak with an English Heritage employee who said they were taking delivery of 2 new benches and was looking for sighting places and I did share my thoughts with him.
The Abbey was stunning to look at and an interesting visit.
We had coffee and scones at the cafe which was delightful and welcoming if a little expensive.
As expected there is a gift shop on exit.

修道院看起来令人惊叹,参观起来很有趣。
我们在咖啡馆喝了咖啡和烤饼,虽然有点贵,但很愉快和热情。
正如预期的那样,出口处有一家礼品店。
