Gorgeous Goat Creamery的点评
点评：With the arrival of warmer weather, the Gorgeous Goat Creamery I. Stockton has brought back goat happy hour on Fridays, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
This is a hidden gem. The business is run by a young couple who have a herd of about 100 goats. It is located off Featherbed Lane, which runs past farms and large properties.
You need to spot their sign and travel along a one lane road through the woods before you arrive. There is a small wood structure housing the farm store.
Goat happy hour revolves around a series of tables and chairs under a couple of pop up tents. Yo7 bring your own snacks and beverages. There is a pen with several of the goats about 20 feet away. You can lean over the fence and pet the goats or feed them with the foliage that is everywhere.
We realized this is a great deal when we first discovered it a year or two ago. We started the tradition of quietly handing the couple $10 a head because we felt there should be an entertainment charge! I think they have built that into this year’s offering as a cover charge. It is also a good idea to buy the goat milk, goat yogurt, goat cheese or goat soap from the little shop.
Are there negatives? You should like quirky. They have less than ten parking spaces. These are minor issues.
