点评:We took our 9-year-old grandson, and as much as we tried to find the good in this place, he was as bored as we were. There were so many empty exhibits and most only had one animal in it, many nearly impossible to see. The other thing that we all noticed was that the cages were filthy and not very "habitat-like". Most of the animals that we did see looked a bit scraggly. In addition, the signage was minimal. We were disappointed that in this day and age there was no technology to assist in learning about the animals and their habitats. When we left, I went to tell the ticket employee that they should employ technology, and it was then that we saw a small sign on the booth that had a QR Code that we could have used. The sign should have been large and on a sandwich board and not on the side of the building. The employee also should have told people as he sold tickets that they could scan the code for more information, yet we never saw anyone using their phones. I came here many times with my father over 60 years ago and it is disappointing that I can't pass on my wonderful memories to my grandkids.
