La Réserve Golf Links的点评
点评：Where do I start, I have been lucky to play some wonderful golf courses over the years, and La Reserve stands right at the top of my list.
We were met at the entrance area, and walked through to luxurious locker rooms , while our clubs were transferred to buggies the other side of the pro shop. The staff are friendly and polite, and I was allowed to hold the Afra Asia bank Mauritius open trophy for a picture.
It is a good 10 minute buggy ride to the first tea, where we were met by staff offering a whiskey and fruit and homemade cookies, probably my biggest mistake of the day was accepting the whiskey at 8am!
The course is stunning and in wonderful condition, there are breathtaking views out towards the Indian Ocean and back towards the mountains.
This is my 4th time playing the course and by far my worst round, but it is impossible not to enjoy a day out here.
Finishing in the restaurant, the food was excellent and although not on the coffee list they made an excellent cortado.
I will definitely be back later in the year with a better stock of golf balls…..
