点评:This is the only museum dedicated to the United States constitution. It covers both the creation of the constitution itself and the various amendments, including votes for women and the abolition of slavery. All of the artifacts in this museum are extremely well-presented. There are also docents in each exhibit who are both friendly and extremely knowledgable. The docents in the Signers Hall and Civil War exhibits in particular went out if their way to tell the visitors stories about their respective areas.
It took me about two hours to see everything including the theater show, but only because most of the upstairs exhibits were closed for renovations. Incredible as this museum is, if you need to decide between the Constitution Center or the actual historic sites like Independence Hall I would recommend the latter. It’s also worth noting that most of the information in this museum is rather high-level. I would not recommend this museum for children below Sixth Grade. That said, if you have a lot of time and are old enough to understand the material I highly recommend a visit.
