点评:Three things marred my visit here. First, we were served at the center by a women who was dressed head to toe in heavy clothing including a long face veil so that you could see none of her at all. It total coverage but she said it was not for religious purposes, which would have been an acceptable reason. It made me uncomfortable even though she was very nice. Second, it was freezing in the exhibits. (It was warmer in the lobby.) Third, wokeism has crept into the exhibits. Just little things, like de-emphasizing the second amendment right to bear arms. But this is Philly, so one should expect that. I was here many years ago and there was none of that. Otherwise, the Constitution and government exhibits are all great. First see the show then head upstairs for that. The Hall of Signers is really good. Downstairs are exhibits on the Reconstruction and slavery and women's suffrage. Lots of other great places to see on the Mall. I would stay away when the school groups come.
