The Bean, the Views, the Vibe – Millennium Park is a Must

点评：If it’s your first time in Chicago, Millennium Park is the perfect intro to the city.
We came here mainly to see The Bean (Cloud Gate) and it didn’t disappoint. It’s massive, shiny, super fun to take photos with especially your own reflection from different angles. You’ll find yourself wondering how they even built something like this. It’s pretty surreal in person.
The whole park is great for walking around. It felt safe too we noticed Chicago cops patrolling which was nice. You can chill on the grass, grab a drink or a bite from the food stalls, or even bring your dog and just relax. It’s also a nice place to jog in the morning if you’re staying nearby.
There’s this other feature called Crown Fountain it’s the one with the digital faces that spit out water. Kids were running through it and seemed to love it. The structure is really cool to look at, even if you’re just passing by.
Also spotted this huge silver structure that looked like a stage Jay Pritzker Pavilion, I think? Read online it’s used for concerts. Would love to catch a show there next time.
Overall, Millennium Park gives you the full Chicago experience in one place. Public art, good energy, open space, and amazing architecture all around. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the city.
