Generally a favorite of ours but the construction of the new hotel/parking garage makes it a mess and confusing.

点评：Generally this is one of our favorite things to do in Columbus, however, the new hotel/parking garage construction has made it a nightmare to get in. First of all the parking lot is currently no more. You are advised to park in the Vine Street garage but parking was scarce and once you find a spot and get out there were no signs(not even temporary) that directs you to the proper exit to enter the market. My wife and I finally happened upon a guest of the Hilton Hotel that helped to direct us out of the parking garage. Even after finally getting outside the construction and barricades make it a challenge to get to the entrance of the market. There were two others like us who had trouble finding a way out of the garage. Once in the market there is plenty to choose from. We were there simply to get Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream and some Stauf’s Coffee. Although we did get a voucher at Jeni’s Splendid for parking it would not scan at the exit. With traffic behind us we simply paid the $4 parking fee not to hold folks up. Once the construction is completed hopefully it will be much better. As I have mentioned it is a favorite of ours but now is not the best time to go if you are driving. It’s a mess.
