What an amazing hidden gem that you have to visit

点评：I never knew that the Wetlands Institute even existed until I passed it leaving Stone Harbor. What an interesting little museum, aquarium and tour of the marshlands. I was really blown away by the detail of this place.
The Institute gives you in detail the effects of the salt marshes and what they do for the shore communities from cleaning the water to helping absorb flooding. There is so much life teeming in these waters and you see it not just in the displays but when you take the path tour outside.
Inside there is a lookout with wonderful views of the ocean and the marshes and a nice little aquarium with local fish and aquatic displays. The interactive displays are very interesting and put you close to the fish.
The best part is the elevated pathway around the marshes and seeing the impact yourself. A very underrated place and is a great place to visit for both children and adults.
