Phenomenal Private Isle of Skye Tour - Highly Recommend!

点评：I had an absolutely fantastic time on my 3.5 day Isle of Skye tour with John and Macleod Heilan tours. I highly recommend booking with them if you are looking to explore the island and either prefer not to drive yourself or want a guide to help you find the best spots and share more info about the places without being limited by a huge group and package itinerary.
I’m an adventurous, active traveler and was excited to explore Skye, but being from the US I would’ve been hesitant to drive (opposite side of the road, narrow single-lane roads, etc). Most of the package tours - whether big bus tours or smaller groups (eg Rabbies), only allow for limited time at many of the stops, certainly not enough time to fully hike and explore places like The Old Man of Storr etc. and some even leave specific stops up to the guide discretion
By doing a private, custom tour with Macleod Heilan tours, I was able to note my priorities to see and do and John was able to customize the itinerary to include essentially everything on my list and plenty of time for hiking and exploring. We were also able to adjust timing and activities for weather (starting early to hike Old Man of Storr before it got too windy, stopping at Skye Weavers to escape the rain), and to make sure I got my fill if Hairy Coos - on the top of my priority list - by adding a Highland Cow farm tour.
Overall, this is by far one of the best - or maybe even the best - tours I’ve done (and I’ve been to ~30ish countries so that’s saying something). I would highly, highly recommend booking with Macleod Heilan tours for your trip to Isle of Skye and/or elsewhere in Scotland!
