A wonderful wine tasting experience!

点评：We were 4 people arriving on a very sunny and hot day by bicycle. The owner Andrea at Torchio1953 gave us shade and refreshments right away. Then he gave us a very interesting and educational tour of his vinery, that he proudly took over from his grandfather. He showed us not only the cellar, but also the garden and the fields, while telling us a very personal story of how he worked with the place to get it the way it is today. He also pointed out the regions around his vineyard and where the different grapes grow.
Then we went into his house and started the wine experience in his grandfather’s old living room. We were offered 5 (6) different wines of our choice. And he paired it with a beautiful selection of cheeses, pai and meat and inspired us all by his presentational skills. All this at a very reasonable price!
The wine tasted great, and he told us about their stories with passion and wisdom. We learned a lot and some bottles went home with us. We will enjoy them by the fireplace back in Norway, thinking back on a wonderful experience in Piemonte. We highly recommend a visit to Andrea and his vinery Torchio1953.
