It was curiosity, awakened by the Movie of Seven Episodes: Nerdrum Family on Finnish television, that drew us to Stavern. Not as pilgrims, but as travelers eager to witness the Nerdrum Museum and to glimpse, perhaps, how the Nerdrum gang carries its vision forward.
Thus unfolded a splendid four-day journey in mid-August 2025, into Stavern and the Larvik coast—a voyage both outward and inward.
