Miguel, the founder and chief curator, has collected plants from around the world that tolerate drought, extreme heat, cold weather, and various challenging conditions.
You'll discover incredible varieties like fruit trees that grow fruit directly from their trunks, blue bananas, and a novel pear-apple hybrids from Japan (which are delicious).
All visits are by appointment only, which creates a wonderfully personal and intimate experience. The care and passion invested in this place is evident everywhere you look.
There's a welcoming bar area where you can refresh yourself with a drink of tea, coffee, and water, plus don't miss the charming "wish tree" where visitors can leave their own messages.
