点评：This past summer, I had the chance to hike the Colorado Trail with two of my friends from Golden Colorado, and it was truly an unforgettable adventure. We covered Sections 1–6 in 8 days, and every single day felt like stepping into a new world.
The trail offered such incredible variety—rolling foothills, thick pine forests, wildflower meadows, and sweeping views of the Rockies that took our breath away. We were challenged by steep climbs and long days on the trail, but the reward was always worth it, especially when we reached a ridge and could see mountains stretching endlessly into the horizon.
What I loved most was the sense of peace and remoteness. Even though we met a few fellow hikers along the way, there were long stretches where it felt like we had the wilderness all to ourselves. The nights under the stars were magical—clear skies, crisp mountain air, and the kind of quiet that makes you appreciate nature even more.
Doing the hike with friends made it even better. We shared laughs, pushed each other when the trail felt tough, and celebrated every milestone together. It was a perfect mix of challenge, bonding, and the pure beauty of Colorado’s backcountry.
If anyone is thinking about doing the Colorado Trail, I highly recommend it—whether you do a section or the whole thing. Sections 1–6 gave us a real taste of the trail’s diversity and magic. It’s an experience I’ll always carry with me, and I can’t wait to go back and explore more of it!
