Musée Villa Piquart Parcours De Guerres的点评
点评：This is a fascinating museum which through its exhibits supported by narrative explanations in both French and English tells the personal stories of mostly ordinary people living in the extraordinary circumstances of three main conflicts, namely the two world war and the Balkan conflict of the mid-1990s. We were greeted by the museum’s creator and curator who told us the history of the house in which the museum is situated and who joined us a couple of times as we went round to expand on some of the information that was displayed.
The story behind the establishment of the museum, which has been open for just a year, is shown in the attached photo. It is also worth noting that many of the exhibits are on loan from the families of those whose lives are chronicled here and the display changes completely on an annual basis.
