Yorkshire Spa Retreat的点评
点评：The lodges are fine and well equipped
The food in the dome restaurant at dinner was awful . 3 of our party had the belly pork and it was as a mushy sloppy dish which they sent back , two of us had burgers with what tasted like frozen chips , the service was slow and you could just tell that the staff were unprepared to deal with complaints .
The spa itself is very basic and not comfortable and I would absolutely not go any time other than the height of summer
80 per cent of the spa experience is outside . The pool was 5 degrees when we went . We watched people trying to get into it snd backing out as it was so cold
If you sit around the pool
Area it’s all outside and there is a shortage of heaters or heavy blankets . I’m really not sure why anyone would visit this place
If you feel like walking you can’t as it’s all main road to Helmsley
Not quite sure what the usp is supposed to be to be honest
