点评:We originally were planning on going to Wingearsheek Beach, but on a Friday, Sat and Sunday definitely need reservations prior to the day of, and were sold out so we needed to look elsewhere. Our son was at Endicott College for the day, and so we turned to Singing Beach since it was close by and needed to pick him up at 12:30pm. There are no online reservations but there are limited non resident parking spots. Unlike the last couple of reviews I read on Trip Advisor, the young teens working the entrances were very pleasant and did not seem to deter out-of-towners. We arrived around 9:30am, paid for a parking spot $30- and we were able to leave our spot to pick up our son, which was great. They only sell so many spots for non-residents so once you’re in, you’re in. This beach is actually beautiful- white soft sand, no rocks, it was low tide when we arrived, so much more beach in the am than in the afternoon. Hands down this beach was as beautiful as Harbor Beach but smaller, and way better than Crane Beach as far as beauty. There were rocks on both ends, and picturesque. No green head flies!!! There are bathrooms, food vendor, ice cream and waves here- but during the day the waves calmed. Mainly because of the ease of getting in and out, amenities and the beauty we give this a 5/5. We would come back to Singing Beach for sure. We stayed in the North Shores for a week, read my other reviews if you plan to stay and need some advice.
