点评：So, Vallåsen… this is a rather long-time-pending review 🙂
I bought my first MTB 10 years ago and a year later, my then 10 Yr old son and I, challenged our common sense and said, “That downhill thing looks fun!”
We live about 100km from Vallåsen, so it’s an all-day adventure for us and we hoped it would be worth the while as we went for the first time.
Fast forward almost ten years, and we’ve defied gravity several times a year, plus had friends tag along and now the youngest who had his first season last year at age 9.
The facility has been through several upgrades and improvements during the years, but the current owners, who I think are locals, has made massive upgrades to everything.
Trails, facilities, bike rental and the lift system, shop and food service are now at the highest level of any year prior!
This is really unique as it’s Swedens southernmost downhill park, that cater to everyone from (almost) beginners, to death-defying black diamond downhill pro’s!
Trails range from the friendly, but fast and wide, all the way to trails that demand you’ve got a high technical skill set and a bike to match!
We’ve visited with both our own bikes, Hardtails and Fully’s and also rented on site.
Everything works perfectly and the staff is attentive and dedicated in their service!
This isn’t a cheap activity, But, you should make this something to experience, if you’re into Mountainbiking!
I’ve seen families with kids on 24” HT’s and 60year old veterans, so it’s for everyone!!
The current owners also co-op with another local activity site, where there are other family action activities, so a good weekend of shenanigans is definitely possible in the area! 👍🏻
We can’t wait to the beginning of the 2025 season and hope to see a lot of friendly smiling faces, having an awesome time defying the thrills and “Braaaap”
