Very poor value lounge: tasteless microwaved food, minimal options, disappointing service and only a partial refund.

点评:We booked access to the Gatwick Plaza Express Lounge (North Terminal) to start our Christmas holiday with my wife and our two children. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and very poor value for money.
The food offering was shockingly bad. The hot options consisted of microwaved pancakes and burgers that were pale, tasteless, and barely cooked. The “salad” was limited to a couple of small bowls of dried-out carrot and lettuce, which looked unappetising and neglected. This fell far short of what anyone should reasonably expect when paying to access a lounge.
The drinks were equally underwhelming. Soft drinks amounted to a fridge stocked with Carlsberg bottles.
When I tried to raise my concerns at the time, I was told that complaints could only be made by emailing after the visit, which I did. Following this, I was offered a 50% refund. While I appreciate that gesture, I do not feel it reflects the reality of the experience or justifies the £100 we paid. The company maintained that the food quality lived up to their description and was worth the price.
Anyone considering using this lounge should be aware of just how poor the food and overall value are. Sadly, it was a very disappointing way to begin what was meant to be a special family holiday.
