North Dakota State Capitol Building的点评
点评：This capitol is one of the few that is a tall office building rather than a classic domed building like most states have. The public entrance led us into the North Dakota Hall of Fame, which was interesting. We went into the art deco Memorial Hall and weren’t sure how to get to any other public areas of the building. So we just took the elevator to the indoor observation deck on the 18th floor where we could see views of Bismarck all around. Outside there is a large grassy mall in front of the building and we walked around and looked at the statues. Past the Governor’s Residence we walked the Arboretum Trail back to the front of the capitol. We spent about 45 minutes on the inside and 30 minutes on the outside.
Don’t miss the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum which is right next to the capitol. We left our car in the capitol lot all afternoon while we toured the capitol and museum.
