点评：I've stayed at a few camps across East Africa, and I'll be honest — I wasn't sure anything could still surprise me. Serengeti Plains Camp proved me wrong.
The tents. Let's start there. Spacious, beautifully appointed. You fall asleep to the sounds of the plains - not traffic, not music from a neighbouring tent - just the wind moving through and sounds of whatever is stirring out there in the dark. That's not something you forget.
The food. Every meal felt considered. Fresh, flavourful, and served with the kind of warmth that makes you linger at the table far longer than you planned. Breakfast as the mist lifts off the grass. Dinner under a sky that feels impossibly wide. Simple pleasures, done exceptionally well.
The people. This is where Serengeti Plains genuinely stands apart. The team here doesn't just work at the camp - they make you feel like you've walked into someone's home and been welcomed as family. Attentive without hovering. Present without being intrusive. That balance is rarer than it should be.
The silence and seclusion. No convoys of vehicles. No sense of being on a circuit. Just you, the land, and wildlife going about its business completely unbothered by your presence.
Compared to other properties I've visited, this one does something different. It doesn't perform wilderness at you. It simply places you inside it.
