Spend some time with Mal and Froydis on your trip to Norway - you won't regret it!

点评：We are 2 couples in our early 70’s. We spent 15 days in Norway and 2 ½ of those days were spent with Mal. It was the highlight of our trip! Before our trip Mal proposed a couple different tours based on our interest and our locations. We couldn’t decide between them, so we booked them all! Best decision!
Mal met us in Bergen one day and we visited sites outside of Bergen that were not even on our original itinerary, but we are so glad we went. And not another tourist to be seen!
On our transition day between Bergen and Balestrand we visited Mal and his wife Froydis at their farm in Hyllestad. Amazing afternoon! They were in their Viking clothing and while Froydis served us a delicious Norwegian lunch Mal showed us what an accomplished musician he is. All while sitting in an authentic farm outbuilding. Then we got to try our hand at weaving while the guys practiced ax throwing. We felt like we had stepped back 100 years in time!
Another day Mal drove to Loen and we had another full day of sightseeing, history lessons and lots of laughter! And not to forget the amazing photography opportunities. Again, not another tourist in sight!
Additionally, Mal offered invaluable advice on what to take advantage of on our other days. We were a little nervous being on our own without our Guide (now friend!) but with Mal’s guidance we had great days!
We highly recommend spending some time with Mal and Froydis on your trip to Norway!
