The Sherborne的点评
点评：The Sherborne has been restored by a benefactor to its original state which sadly becomes its big problem. The walls and carpets are very dark so the blinds are kept shut to protect them. They are awful for displaying anything. The current photo exhibition may as well be called coal at night.
The painting up the stairs has been restored but is almost too dark to see and is not really very pleasant, depicting various animals being killed.
It has a couple of nice arts and crafts fireplaces.
It has to be said that the downstairs toilets are magnificent and probably worth popping in for five minutes to view.
The new space and outside has massive potential but ultimately there is nothing really there. There is quite a good gift shop.
The cafe serves quite good food but the service is slow. We could not get an alcoholic drink from the bar as the restaurant was closed which even the staff found funny.
We cannot imagine what the business model is. It is voluntary donations for entry.
There seems to be no creativity in using the space. I know some local artisans would like to display their wares there on a for sale basis.
