点评：My wife and I recently booked a tour and tasting session at Spirit of the Downs, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. We were warmly welcomed by Michael, the owner, who gave us and another couple a personal tour of the distillery. Although small it was a big experience.
Michael’s passion for his craft really came through as he walked us through the production process. Afterwards, we sat down to sample a wide selection of his Sussex gins, brandies, and vodkas. The variety of flavours and botanicals was impressive, as was the quality and taste of each spirit.
We couldn’t leave without buying a couple of bottles, which we’re looking forward to enjoying at home. It was a relaxed, informative, and highly personal experience. We learned a lot and would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in craft spirits.
